Christmas demo 3

I used a white A6 card for this one, which I then embossed on my Cuttlebug with the snowflakes folder, a die cut decoupage of the teddy image and a few peel offs with a greeting.

this one is really simple - a blank dovecraft card, with a peel off and some rub ons - I'm sure some of the group could copy this one.

Christmas demo

I'm doing a demo shortly at my disabled group, so have been looking at cards suitable for people with limited dexterity, and came up with these:

The one above uses a 5x5 square blank from www.artymiss.com, a robin die cut topper (Kanban robin sheet) and is decorated with peel offs.

Oriental Lady

This was a die cut set from Create and Craft. The card comes pre-printed and then the decoupage was assembled on top.

A quick but effective card, suitable for any occasion, and guaranteed to cheer anyone up with this dreich summer we're having (although it's dry here today!)

another Birthday Card

I fancied a change from Flower Soft, so used Jak Heath's cd3 to create this card. I printed the backing straight on to the card, added the matching pyramage topper, a greeting banner (from Lakeland), and a tassel (from Craft Creations).

card for my friend

I did this card for my friend who's birthday it is tomorrow. I used a backing paper from Joanie (imag-e-nation forum) and added a window box topper from flower soft and a flower soft greeting.

I love Flower Soft - it's so versatile.

Church Sale of Work today

well - took my cards etc to the Sale today - was well pleased - made £87 for church funds, which is a nice lot of money. Will find out the final total over the next few days.

made a few Christmas cards for a sale

all of these are done using various die cut images. It is our Church's Sale of Work on Wednesday, so I have these, plus a few other cards and some local scene notelets, coasters and tablemats to sell. Hope it goes well!

this just had to be made

I bought this decoupage kit from Mad About Cards and it was so cute, it was just crying out to be done.

I used my Swiss Dots embossing folder and then simply mounted the completed decoupage on top.

The greeting etc will be added when the card is needed.

Wedding Anniversary card

For Mum & Dad's anniversary this year, I decided to do something completely different. I printed the background direct to card, then did the FlowerSoft topper using different colours. This stuff is so versatile.

I added a greeting and a tassel (from Craft Creations) and there it was complete - now I've got to do another one for a friend's 50th!

Get Well

I needed a card quickly so it could be delivered to someone who had had emergency surgery. So I used my Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing folder, combined it with a K&Co embossed sticker, a peel-off and there it was.

The recipient was absolutely delighted with it.

Father's Day

Father's Day is fast approaching, so I decided that I'd better get around to making my card!

This was done using a sheet of A4 hammer card, on which I printed the Westie daffodil images. This was done borderless so as to completely cover the card. I then made of the pyramage decoupage (which is really easy to do) and mounted it to the front of the card using spray mount adhesive.

I was going to add a tassel to the side of the card, but after punching and setting the eyelet, discovered that the cord wouldn't go through, so I tied a length of Kreinik metallic braid into a loose bow to finish the card off.

emerald wedding

a card made for friends who were celebrating 55 years of marriage. It was done using a TBZ vellum wrap (these are just gorgeous!) and a selection of both Prima leaves and paper rosebuds from Joanna Sheen.

cards

I really enjoyed making this card - using a toreads die cut decoupage and some paper (DCWV) and some straight edge peel offs. This card was done to sell at a coffee morning.

the gatefold card was done for my parent's 45th (Sapphire) wedding anniversary in 2007. The flowers are from Joanna Sheen. the card is a "wardrobe" effect card from Lakeland, and I coloured the peel offs myself to get the desired effect.

first entry

I'm Fiona (otherwise known as Crazycrafter!) and I live in rural Scotland at the beautiful Mull of Kintyre.

I enjoy all things crafty and like nothing better than sitting down with a blank card and other bits and pieces and seeing what can be created. I also enjoy cross-stitch and have just started doing blackwork again after a break of a few years.
